It doesn't matter if you are just starting out, or you have decades of experience under your belt, there's always someone that can help you take the next step towards your goals.
Life is a journey that's better with friends
One thing that successful people consistently do better than others, is to surround themselves with people that elevate them. People that can help them get better and provide them with the support needed to take the right steps towards success. It is one of our core beliefs, that success is not something you are born with, or have in your genes. Some people are born in an environment that is more suitable for success, yes. However, that doesn't mean success is not attainable for others - they just might need to work harder and smarter for it. Whereas you cannot always change your background and surroundings, you can definitely seek the right kind of help and emulate the right environment. The most important thing is to remember that you don't have to go alone every time. If you find the right people, you combined force can become unstoppable.
Our Approach
We have seen firsthand the power of mentoring. By having the right mentor - someone who has gone already through the journey and made the usual mistakes, you can save yourself a world of hurt and it can be a decisive factor in you reaching your dreams. For mentors, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a young minds flurish based on your support. You get to re-live awesome moments from your past and talk about topics your are passionate about. All the while also shaping the next generation of domain experts in your field.
That's why we have created a mentoring program where people with potential, ambition and energy are matched with people with relevant experinece and passion, in order to achieve their goals. We believe in 1:1 work, because ambitious goals need bespoke approach and support. This is an informal collaboration where the focus is on agility and doing doing the actual work. Beyond that, we also believe in collabotation and exchange beyond the mentoring pairs. In the whole program, there's a plethora of expertise and eagerness to help that should not be underestimated. We encourage mentoring pairs to exchange and help each other whenever beneficial.
Personalized Matching
Mentoring is only as good as the parties involved. Especially for experienced professionals, support can only be provided from mentors with very specific skillset. We understand that and put a lot of emphasis on matching mentees with the right mentors so we can setup the pairs for success.
Goal-Oriented Progress
Whereas this is not a hard requirement, we encourage all mentoring pairs to define, follow up on and measure progress towards, goals. We want to know and be transparent about the goals of each participant in the program and hold them accountable for their progress towards them.
Community Support
Beyond the one-on-one relationship, we foster a community where all participants can learn from each other, share resources, and build valuable connections. By this we don't mean that we will just send introduction emails and organize a networking event. We believe that comradery is achieved via exchange and working together towards a common goal. Our community support reflects that. We will provide a more natural setting where people from different parts of the program have a change to collaborate and build a genuin connection.
The Bigger Picture
The ultimate goal is to normalize seeking mentoring and achieving success by receiving support from the community. No one is smart enough to make it on their own. There needs to be others that make the journey more bearable. Unfortunately, in recent years, it's too easy to find behind a computer and receive this support from the internet. However, this can only bring you so far. For true progress and achievement, it's better to have a community and bespoke help from relevant individuals.
We envision a world where seeking guidance is normalized, where professionals at all levels understand the value of both giving and receiving mentorship, and where organizations recognize the profound impact that mentorship can have on their culture and success.
